My 97 was parked for awhile due to dead battery and finances. I recently replaced the battery, started it up and ran fine. It as it idled it began to increase in RPM's. It now idles at around 1800 RPM's. I can't find any obvious vacuum leaks. I'm not the most adept at diagnosing issues so I could sure use some help with this. Also for some reason the brakes don't seem to have any stopping power. It acts like it would under slick conditions. Makes me wonder if there is some relation between the idle and the ABS?
