Default Diagnosing Squeak

Hi - take a look at this video (not great visual content, but the sound it there)

I had my dad shimmy the steering wheel and this is what came out.

Originates from the Passenger front wheel area.

I replaced the CV axle about 1 month ago due to a boot tear and subsequent squeaking/noise.

This noise showed back up.
I just replaced the outer tie-rod; no change (needed to get changed anyway).

Having a hard time finding the exact origin.

Let me know if I should take a different video and how it should look - Thanks for the help.

That's a bushing noise, check control arm bushing. One way is to look a see if it's torn. The other way is to spray a little PB on them. It will silence them a little.

Did you check the lube on Idler arm?

Its a tough spot to lube both points on it and it could dry up causing the squeak.

And...it happens to be on the Pax side as well.

Pitman arm is newer-

Is the idler the one that's comes out of the steering gearbox? Or are they one in the same

Also-the pitman feels good. But it does have a tiny knock when I shimmy.

That sounds like ball joints that are dry. There's no good way to make sure that's what it is besides for changing them out. And hoping for the best.
