decisions...decisions
Ive got a 2001 xlt scab and a 2012 lariat screw both 4x4's..i want to lift one and build my own for my wife and me..not sure which one to do it with? i actually enjoy the 2001 better but the 2012 is top notch! Of course money is a factor so I can only do one...downfall on th 01 is it has 225,000 miles on it.. but its a great truck!

Leave the Screw as the "family car" lol. Might make her think your spoiling her a little bit, and earn you some brownie points and give you more freedom with the other.

im with texas edition on this one. You can go through some of the steering components up front while the lift is going on and have a really nice handling truck.

Agreed, do the 01 as your lifted truck. No need replacing brand new components on a 2012 show that 01 some love (plus it weighs less and thus will perform better offroad).

yeah..I think thats agood idea!.my wife is all about the project and doesnt care either way. I think we would get more out of building up the 01 together...where should i start? i have torsion keys and 2" blocks with 2" wheel spacers on it now..factory wheels with 285's that rub a little some times..lol
