Starter or starter solenoid. Pop your hood, locate your battery, and close to it on the firewall there is a solenoid. Pull the cable that looks like a vac line, may be a little difficult but it'll come off, tap it on something to clean it or blow it out if you can, plug it back in, hop in and try to start her up. Let us know if that works for you.

Its worked for me a couple times, if that doesn't work, then you could try jumping the solenoid, if it still just clicks then its more than likely your starter.

That doesn't look factory. Lol but same idea, the one on top is the one you would pull. Clean. Replace. Then try starting.

When I installed it didn't work so I called my mechanic and he was like put the key in the on position and touch the terminals on the starter and it turned on ever since never had the problem again

That makes me believe you have an internal short in the starter. Next time it does this, tap the side of the starter and see if it starts working. If so, the armature is magnatized in the case, and the brushes are worn to nothing. Replace the starter. Very common with high mileage Fords,
