Cylinder 4 misfire after it rains
97 4.6 liter supercab. I get the p 304 misfire with less power after it rains. plugs, coils wires are newer. I was stumped a year ago( I drove it less then) took it my mechanic and he found water in the well. He removed that, and cleaned the plug, and it was fine mostly. Cheap gas treatment has been clearing it out back to where it stops and clears the engine light. I wonder if its the waetherstripping, but don't know what size or where to get it. Yes I googled it, and am aware that it could be an intake issue, but want to try to make sure its sealed first. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea it's the hood seal, they can pull away from seat. All you usually have to do is simply move it back in place. You know, re-seat it.

No problem, - lift the hood and check the seal. Yea you just have to look it over, for creases, deformation or damage. Needs a good eyeballin is all lol.

I eyeballed it..
The windshield sprayer on the hood is not covering the hole it mounts through. I bought wider sprayers today and some clear 100% silicone. I will probably do that up tomorrow. Thank you for the help.

Got a garden hose to flood the windshield to find out where it was dripping thru and after caulking to prove it wasn't leaking anymore.
