Default Custom Tuning shops

Hey everybody Im just wondering where everybody who has custom tunes ordered there tunes from?

The 2 most popular seem to be Troyer Performance and 5 star tuning. I was trying to find somewhere in Minnesota that specializes in Fords but Im coming up with nothing. I might end up just ordering out of state after all.

Thanks in advance, Derek

Thank you, never heard of that one Ill check their website. Just got done reading through VMPtuning website, they also do it through email. I know a lot of people have said troyerperformance is great but they take a few months to make the tune, so I think that eliminates them.

And yes I have the SCT 3015 from Franchi. You get custom tunes from MPT?

99% of places will be out of state, only really benefit to going to a local place is if getting a dyno tune which which effective, is much more expensive, typically $400 to $700 depending on where you go.

Far as custom tuning places, I def recommend MPT. Mike the head tuner there was the lead tuner at SCT for 6 years so he def knows what he is doing. 5 Star is good, Innovative, VMP, Troyer, Unleashed Tuning, those are some of the better known tuners for SCT that I can think of off top of my head.

Awesome I appreciate it! I am TRULY AMAZED at how easy it is to get custom tunes made, I thought it would be a huge pain in the ace to be honest. Technology continues to blow me away.

Ill take a look at some of those other companies, I got a couple months to make my decision...

MPT has awesome service. I'm picking one up shortly. Hopefully be able to make a pull with the Edge, then a back to back pull with a MPT performance tune to see what differences there are between them.

Bought my SCT from MPT and got 3 free custom tunes, customer service is top notch in my opinion. I've never run anybody else's tunes but I'm please with the 93 octane tune from MPT.
