Default Creative places to mount lights? post em here!

Hey guys, im looking to get a pair of KC daylighters (long rang) and just wondering were some people have mounted theres that is a cheap and easy way. Im talking custom mounts or brackets. Cutting holes to pump the lights in ya know custom stuff like that. Bull bars stick out to far for my liking and light bars are just to bulky and ugly. No offense to anything thats just my opinion and id rather the clean look of 2 lights being on my truck but no bulky pieces holding them there. Lets see what you guys got!

previous owner of my truck bolted them straight through the bumper pad... works and looks good but i would defiantly go with a light bar if i get a new bumper pad...

Probably behind the grille would be one of the cleanest ways to mount lights.

Unless you go with a bull bar, which has the mounting tabs for an obvious install, the best place is behind the grille, as so many have done here (I put my off-brand ones there, and replaced the halogen bulbs with LEDs. Doesn't throw that much light, but helps compensate for the projectors I put in for standard headlights). Putting them behind the grille gives you all of the aux light you want, and ensures they'll still be there when you leave your truck in a parking lot.
