Use a flat head screw driver to pry the rubber bushing on the A arms away from the mounts. There may be stones in between the bushing and the frame mount. I used needle nose pliers to get them out and fixed my creaking on the front end. Much cheaper!

The bushings on these leaf springs are notrious for this. You said it got worse when you oiled them, then you are definitely on the right track. I do not believe Ford sells just the bushings for this as I had the same problem in my F-250. Good luck

My truck does the same thing, but it's the torsion keys that creak. I have'nt quite figured out how to quite them down yet.

UPDATE: Same as Mudrunner....took it back to Les Schwab and they out it up on the rack and pin pinted it to the torn bar crossmember. They took me and my boy out and showed up where the problem is and they said all they could really do was soak the bushing down inside the crossmember and the frame adn hope that works. Since we dont know how old it all is it could just be age of the lift and it looks like it has been on there for a while. So i am gonna just keep spaking it for the next couple days to work the lub in and see if that will help.

I've just recently gotten a really bad squeaking noise coming from the front end. It seams like the sound is coming from the front coil springs to me. Is it possible that they could be the culprit. Every website I've checked says its most likely the ball joint. I just replaced front shocks and tie rod ends (inner and outer) this fall. It squeaks whenever I go over bumps or turn the wheel while parked. However, when I was trying to pinpoint the noise I jacked the front end up on stands to see if it would make any noise while turning the wheel when both tires were off the ground. When no weight was being applied to front suspension, turning the wheel made no squeaky noise at all. With tires on the ground, it squeaks like hell!! It's starting to get embarrassing. It's so loud now I call it the squeak mobile.

The coil spring wouldn't make any noise at all. Its ball joints. Lift the truck up and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and try to wiggle. You should notice some good amount of play in the wheel if they're worn bad.

And I don't think this generation used coil springs.

ive never heard a wheel bearing squeak...maybe the shock mounts.. they usually have rubber on the ends and they might be squeaking.. grease those before you buy new shocks to be sure
