Creaky/Squeaky suspension
So about 3 weeks ago my truck became really creaky. Slow speed turning and over bumps and especially when backing up slow speed into the driveway. Also if you put it into drive and start to creep forward and hit the breakes it will squeak bad. Anyways I had Les schwab do some work today after they looked at it, tie rods and ends, upper and lower ball joints, idler arms, pitman arms to the sum of $1400....and half hour after I pick it up all the same sounds came back......WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CREAKING....any ideas?
Thanks

I was thinking about getting some lithium grease and hitting in between the leafs and the mounts also. I also thought maybe the schocks but since Les Scwab did my front end rebuild and didnt say anything about shocks maybe not then...hmmmmm

Well I soaked the leafs and bushings in lithium grease and no change and now going over speed bumps the creaking is back again ecpecially in the front. Since I just had basically the whole front end rebuild could this be as simple as old shocks? They look OLD......Not very happy with Les Schwab right now.....>$1400 and still have the creaking.

Romp It!
I'm tellin you man definitely sounds like a bad wheel bearing, but could be a shock also. Your shop should have tried that before spending that much on rebuilding your front end its a heluva lot cheaper. Always a best idea to start with the cheapest possibilities and work your way up if your not 100% sure on the problem
