Why did you change the manifold in the first place?

When I took off the crossover tube that was leaking (picture), to change the o ring/gasket the plastic piece inside was deformed and the oring inside that was bulging. Noticed the leak after the EGR was changed. Autozone's codes said EGR and misfire in #8 (the boot had split). Changed the boot on 8-it was new. Started all of this because it felt like it was stuttering and hesitating in gear and on acceleration. IF the rpm's are high (like from stepping down harder on the accelerator), it will work through it and smooth out. But as soon as you let off the gas pedal and hit it again-it does it again. Could it be the transmission?

I suspect a leak with mine in the area between and below the injector and that x-over tube. Must be the same issue, yeah?

Same thing is happening with mine. Need a new intake manifold. Ours are plastic so you can either get another one and hope it doesnt happen, or buy a Dorman manifold. I have held off replacing mine and have used Prestone stop leak and it holds it for a few months.
