Coolant a clear brown color

Hi Cogent, my coolant is the same color as yours. Did you get back your analysis and what did it show? Does the "40k coolant" under the pic mean it was in there for 40,000 miles?

Coolant color changes a little with time
But not much in a decently maintained system, using right coolant.

Corrosion in system is $$$$. Think head gaskets. Heater cores. Etc.
Keep it clean and fresh.

hi , the mileage on the coolant was 20,000 and I haven’t gotten the results back yet. As soon as I do I will post them. I did a coolant flush and all is well..... color is good so far.....

High Rust! Low Buffering Capacity..... Flush and refill on point....

If you just change it every 2 years, a lot of problems can be avoided. I don't see any difference in mine (color) when I change it.

Thats a good idea....I let Goodyear take care of the coolant and their process is “Drain and Refill” no flush or neutralizers.... I’m doing it from now on.....

25k miles and still going strong. It looks as good as the day I flushed it.
