Convincing the Parents- Photoshop help?

I had the same problem with my parents.. I paid for everything so it didn't really madder what they said. so I did everything I wanted even if they told me not too and turns out they like everything I've done.
but as for what you want to do I like where your going with it. as for the rockstars, they look good, but they are extremely overdone. But if you like them get them. besides that I like the plans! good luck

Sounds like this is a problem only you can do. We can't convince your parents of nothing...
If I were you I'd just suggest asking if you can do anything to the truck that won't affect the suspension or drivetrain so he doesn't have to worry about that. Just ask to PTM stuff and like new headlights and taillights and such. But this isn't really an issue any of us can help with.

What do you mean by overdone on the rockstars? Like alot of people have them? Yeah, I agree if thats what you mean, but yeah I just really like them...and I havent really found any I like any better.
I have been thinking in the past few days about Fender Flares, the ones with the rivvets in them, but idk...since my truck is just 2wd i think it may be kinda dumb/pointless.

yeah I mean overdone as in everybody and their brother has them. but if you like them then it doesn't really madder. you should look into some chrome fuel octanes http://www.rimzoneonline.com/cgi/com...89C33125020FMT they look better than then rockstars IMO and they arent as overdone
I think if it was lifted with really wide tires it would look good with fender flares but on a level truck I wouldn't.

Here is a thought. Give him HIS truck back and BUY one you can afford and do to it what you want to. At least that is what I have told my Son. Wait a min. He did pay for his own. I was just on the loan.

Lol, i'm in college and dont have THAT type of money...but dont get me wrong, I'm not one of those unappericative kids that is like, o...a truck thanks...and doesent care. I'm ESTATTIC that my parents got me this truck, espically one this nice!! Im not complaining at all that they arent letting me do anything to it yet, but i still want to lol.
Plus, it is "mine" its not a truck they handed down that is/was his, they bought it for me and me alone, its just in his name still. They have an 06 KR Superduty for themselves.
Finally, yeah, i'm trying to convince him to let me do small things over time, like lights, PTM stuff, etc.
