Default converting a 1998 to rear disc brakes

Does anyone have a parts list of what it takes to convert the rear drum brakes on a 1998 F150 5.4V8 XLT Supercab, 9.75 rear axle, to disc brakes?

Thanks

You will need a 9.75 disk brake rear end with the same gear ratio as you are running. And the longer passenger side eBrake cable. That is it.

Oh and be aware 2000 and up will have larger studs. 97-99 have 12mm and 2000 -2003 have 14mm

Should I interpret this to mean that these rear ends are found on the 2000+ models?

What do you mean by "these rear ends?"

EDIT: Here... Maybe THIS will help.

Well, ‘these rear ends’ as in sum parts that comprise the rear axles including disc brake Hubs/differential

You should interpret it to mean that if you get a rear end before 2000 it will have 12mm studs. So you'll need 12mm lug nuts and a different hub cap if you're using them.

He has a 98 witch is 12mm if he gets a 2000 or newer it will have 14mm studs and his wheels won't fit.

I screwed up. Reverse my words. It's all here now though, just a matter of degree. He could even swap axles couldn't he?

At some point they changed the splines on the rear axels but I am not sure what year that was.
