for the Expedition 5.4 date range, is that the same date range if I find a Navigator transmission to put in my expedition? Any differences between the 5.4 2wd Expedition 4R100 and the Navigators?

How exactly are they different? I've looked high and low for a way to compare harnesses, but the internet is stupid. I have a 99 that came stock with a 4r70w, it decided to take a dump. I have a transmission wiring harness for a 4r100 from a 2001 expedition. Is it a nightmarish fix that evolves a voodoo priest sacrificing a chicken? I've been working on this project for a year and a half and it runs but it only goes in first gear. I even went to a salvage yard and cut the main harness from in front of the windshield, but I don't have a clue how different the two of my harnesses are.
I hate to sound desperate, but any help anyone might provide would be appreciated.

I probably have the E4OD harness pinouts at home. For the 4R70W harness, I need to know what year the 4R70W is that you're wanting to use. The harness in 97 is a one year pinout, and it changed in 98.

Just an FYI, the TRS and main harness are both different between the two.
