No need to remove water jacket.(mine has insulation wrapped around vacuum line) The new one I purchased came with a plastic 90%> I didn't need to use it. My 5.4 had a 90 already in line. Pulled out pvc, pulled off of vacuum line. Plugged in new pvc to vacuum line, placed it in grommet. All done 1 minute max.

That's great. If it was buzzing something odd was going on with it. Possibly leaking vacuum causing the check inside not to stay seated.
Rockauto.com might be a good place to find coils at a better price. Mine still has coil packs and they were cheaper.

I think the spring inside of the pvc was bad. I shook bolth of em. The new valve had much greater resistance in the spring. Just old and worn out. Replaced plugs this a.m. , a bit of a pain in the a#%. The ones inside were original motorcraft. They were in very sad shape. Supposed to get down to 26 tonight, waiting for the cold soak to see how it starts in the morning.
