Does anyone run a Spectre CAI? If so, is it worth the money? Also looking at doing a throttle body spacer, probably JET. Any feedback will be appreciated.

I know a couple people that love them. Worth the money? No the gotts mod and a good drop in filter like amsoil ea will give you just as good of gain for 3 bucks. An the gotts pulls air from the fender well and not the engine bay so it's an actual cai. As for the spacer that's a waste of money. Do the gotts and spend that money on some lightning lights.

Are you talking about making one from the chrome tubes orilies sells? If so DONT! I tried and it was horrible. They didn't have the MAF adapter so I did a hack job on my stock one to make it work. My truck was gutless and died if it was cold. Ended up buying an AFE CIA and loved it. But once it was all said and done I would have rather just done the gotts mod. Which is what I did on my new truck and I love it

So basically the gotts does the same thing, more effieciency and some hp gains and doesn't set off the CEL? And is cheap on top of that?

No cel and yes in my first post I state you can do it for 3 dollars that was a serious estimate. And you can do the intake silencer removal and it will growl like a cai. You may see a little better mileage and some hp but mainly just snappier. That's all you'll ever get out of a CIA.
