Default Clicking When Accelerating?

Alright, First...I have a HARD click noise when i shift out of park and into reverse. Obviously tranny issue but does anyone that has had this problem know how expensive it is to fix.

Second...Not all the time, but sometimes when i first accelerate, its a continuous clicking, the faster i go, the quicker the clicking. The driveshaft doesnt have much wiggle room so im thinking thats not it. maybe rotors? brakes?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

i have a ticking sound also.its a 97 4,6 liter auto. when i power brake it the sound is coming from the bell housing area. it also drops 500 rpms around 3500-4000 rpm range and then picks back up with a bit of boost.dont think it has anything to do with the ticking sound though. i have also noticed that i have a broken bolt on the exaust manifold. but it doesnt sound like a leak yet. any suggestions?

Check the u-joint. My 2001 did that and it was my driverside u-joint. U-joint is probably less than 20.00 and the labor is 200.00 if a shop does it. I changed mine in about 5 hours. Good luck.
