Yeah or she probably wouldn't run or be in limp mode. So have you drivin the truck cause it probably already has plenty of power. And just don't expect a lot out of it cause any fixes are huge money and with 211k you don't want to be pushing everything.

Ok one serious question. If I wanted to could I put a edge cts on it. Without hurting it. Cause that's what I really want.

I wouldn't. Edge isn't all that great on a Ford. SCT is the way to go, again contact a local shop and get some custom tunes meant for your truck so it runs like it needs to, don't just get a tuner and dick around with settings, because that's what causes problems

Edge is rough on transmissions. Get a SCT Livewire. Basically the same style but better tuning

Depending on the Strategy code in the ficm will determine if the CEL is turned on or not with out a EGR. If its gone 200k with stock head bolts dont bother putting a tune on it. You sound like one who will beat on it hard when not towing and even with a small tune it can pop the head gaskets.

I don't believe this... And you don't want to tune a truck that's stock with that many miles your just asking for trouble. And there are many powerstroke forums that are helpful you just don't want to ask stupid questions like "how do I roll coal?" because that is frowned upon.

Well guys went and drove 159 miles up there about half way. And the damn guy called and said he couldnt sell since. It had his brothers fuel injector module on it. After he pretty much begged me to come there today. So I had to drive back home another 159 miles so drove over 300 miles for nothen. Now he texts and wants to no If Im still interested, and I told him only if he came to my town.
