Default Catalytic questions

Ok guys so I have seen many of you run careless and straights. I was going to do it until the muffler shop said my truck would run like complete ****. My plan was to remove the rear to cats and run straights all the way back out and they all said I would loose torque because there would be no back pressure?

yea they are right and it is also a federal crime to remove any emissions equipment

I have rear cats removed and no muffeler and my truck runs great. Sounds great too! Its pretty loud.

to get around the law, cut open yours cats and just straight pipe through em. that way it looks like you have them

No muffler shops would cut my cats off for me, so I did it myself and they just welded pipes together lol they didnt do anything illegal. I have longtubes no cats x pipe and 2 mangaflows and it performs and sounds great.
