Means no mufflers I expect. Kids who haven't had enough attention in life do this. They need loud and annoying vehicles to voice their frustrations.

I have no muffler on mine, it's not required so I didn't want to spend money on it. It's not that much louder, and no loss of power

Massachusetts General law states that a muffler is not required, if it doesn't make it louder. There is some interpretation that can be taken from that, but it's worked for me

Huh, well there's most likley something about max decibel limit in there. Some sort of ordinance from the state legislature I expect. Mufflers are also considered spark arresters. You know, there's all kinds of laws on it, against it that vary a little state to state. Are they enforced...hell no lol. Can't be, here anyway. There's too many holey hell loud vehicles around here. Not enforced, that's for sure.

Utah law says "Mufflers with bypasses, cutouts, and other devices that alter the sound of the engine are not permitted."

So, my Mustang is illegal by that. LOL
