2001 flareside

i have a 4.6l 4x4 5 s trans with 4.10 gear , super chip programer,air intake kit, curently the engine start pulling at 2900+ up to 5500. i wil like to get it to pull in the low 2000 any of you guy have ida wat to do

Geez, a small-block V8 (4.6L x 61.4 cu.in/L = 282 CID) with 4.1s, wouldn't it be cheaper to shift down to a lower gear and romp on it?

i bin dooing that since 2001 , but the truck is extremly week to take off i chang the gear set from 3.55 to 4.10 put a are intake and a chip but the engine do not have anyting in the box ... my wife drive 4l v6 ranger with 3.73 and she got better time pulling same load

Wow that gave me a headache deciphering... Punctuation is your friend. Since you already swapped in a set of 4.10 gears, cams is the next option. Do a little research, talk to the ppl at summit racing they are very helpful.
