Default A/C clutch compressor issue

My clutch assembly on my 2000 5.4 makes an intermittent sound about every few seconds and starts and ends with a click. I've viewed some other threads and it might be the pressure switch. Any one out there have similar issues or even better some answers.

Clicking like it is engaging and disengaging? It would do this if you were low on 134. I would think a bad pressure sw would not let it engage at all.

Agreed, rapid cycling could be low on freon. When its engaged is the compressor noisy?

The compressor isn't noisy. With the hood open I can see the clutch assembly on front of the compressor moves when the noise occurs and stops when it stops moving. Something is making it go on and off.

Don't get confused with normal cycling of the AC. On time is 15-20 seconds off time is basically the same, compare to another vehicle. Time varies and depends on temperature (outside) and humidity.
