Buying F-150 have a few questions ?
I am looking at a 2000 F-150 supercab flareside 2wd Harley Edison truck truck has 198000 on it and it looks great my biggest concern is it’s leaking coolant the coolant is siting under the intake manifold I researched on YouTube and found f this to be common issue how big of a deal is this as far as money for the job or overall concerns

Intake gasket. Shows 5 hours in the book, so figure 6 hours plus parts.

If the coolant is pooling in the block cavity, you'll have to determine where the coolant is originating from before dismantling. The intake and gaskets may be perfectly fine, the leak could be coming below the intake behind the water pump at the heater core hard-line connection. That connection uses two o-rings to seal. The o-rings are known for failure and has nothing to do with the intake. That's the lowest point.
Above that you have the intake gaskets. The v8 gaskets fail up front at both water intake water jackets. They often will have a smashed appearance (always) with a small voids once compromised. Those are leakers.
The most common cause for the block cavity holding coolant for 2000 - 02/some 03 models is a cracked manifold. If the manifold is cracked it's toast. So that's what you have to look real good for before ordering parts. If you look close, trace the leak with a bit of common sense, you should have the ability to pin-point were it's leaking exactly...above the gasket, = intake crack likley .....below gasket = gasket itself or lowest point ( heater core hard-line o-rings, behind the water pump.
Might have to clean the area up a bit first, the best you can to assist with this. Then run it up to operation temp, rev it up some once at temp. Keep an eye on the area you cleaned... Should help if its difficult to see
