burned gas smell

Actually, that line begins at the top of the throttle body elbow. I got a diagram somewhere, - Crap have to up load lol. Here it is, -

It may, but the way that usually works,- when you get a code, - it doesn't stink...literally anyway.

Is it still doing it? -worse?

That blow by crap builds up when it gets cold, -specially when the vehicle is used for short trips. Could have some plugging the PCV , - the smell being a by-product of that.

What's it look like under the oil fill cap? Any blow-by? That stuff can get about a 1/2" thick under the cam covers if the vehicle isn't driven enough to burn it off.

The smell is only a cold outside issue, the gas pressure has always been an issue

So what do you mean by gas pressure, -fuel pressure/pump ?

Yes fuel pressure, when i turn the key to accessories, it goes to about 40 psi and drops to zero from there, it seems to maintiAn while driving.

And i figure the truck at 100k, it may be a good idea to change the pcv

Gettin purdy good at figurin mister. Shoot, if you haven't changed it in 100,000 miles, -there's really no hurry anyway, I expect.

well thanks lol, technically its 90k but i still figure a pcv change is a good idea
