Default Brush Guard

I bought a brush guard off craigslist for $50 bucks.
The guy claims that it will fit my 2002 f150 but ive been doing some research and havent seen anything like it. Does anybody know if i could get it to fit.

And the reason it was so cheap was because it didnt come with any brackets so i need to either get those fabbed or hopefully buy some online if anyone knows where i could find some.

wow for 50$ you stole that brush guard.. looks like a ranch hand brush guard. that's about 300-400 brand new.. but to me it looks like it was made for an 04-08 f150, but I could most definitely be wrong. there is no telling if that was made for a 97-03 f150 until you try line it up with the tow hooks and get the bracket mounts

IMO it looks like its off an 04 and newer F150. Never seen one like that for our year trucks. Looks to be just like this http://www.google.com/imgres?q=ranch...0&tx=136&ty=70

Ya i thought it was for the 04 and newer model to but the two main posts arent curved like they are on all of the brush guard for the newer ones.

I might just try to sell it for a profit and buy a bull bar instead

Yeah I mean $50 is a deal that you got it for! Normal ones around my area are going for $100 minimum

Sell it that's for 04-08 see the two cutouts under the headlight cut outs it sits over the bumper on the 04-08 it would be too close on our trucks for that to sit right I bought my bull bar from hunter for 128.99 including shipping there based out of Texas and one it was really easy to install and two a third of the price and it looks legit and comes with two predrilled holes or your plate no extra money spent on a relocation bracket two nuts two bolts an two lock washers ad your good to go
