Default Broken sway bar link question

So I drive over a fairly deep pothole yesterday, luckily I was only doing like 10mph, and I now notice a slight clunk when I hit street imperfections. I stick my head under the front end and notice this sway bar link had snapped off at the top. It looks like an easy repair if one had air tools, but I do not. Do you think I could remove that bottom nut and somehow hold the link so it doesn't spin, all with hand tools?

Just use a Sawzall or a hacksaw. Don't waste your time with anything else if they are even remotely hard to get out. Ford used some strange BS VooDoo plastic that found a way to bond to the rusty mild steel bolt. It took me an hour of fighting in the driveway, on my back, to take one off. :30 seconds for the other side with a saw.

Hey thanks for the ideas, especially the one about taking a sawzall to it. One question, am I cutting the bolt right above that suspension component what it's mounted to (sorry, I don't know the name of that part) or cut under the part I'm attempting to describe, where the nut is?

Cut on the inside of the sway bar and the A-arm (control arm).

Or pickup a new one and see how it goes together and what holds it.

Don't even bother with those anymore - cordless grinder takes care of them.
