brakes
well i was going to change my brakes pads on the front cause i thought they needed to be changed well i took it apart well they did not need to be replaced well them i started to go ahead and change my cv axle i got as far as taking the axle nut off and quit cause it was to hot that day put everything back together and now when i apply the brakes very lightly there is a squeal and when i apply the brakes it will tick and i cant tell if its the brake or cv axle i know the cv axle is bad i just want to know if something is wrong with my brakes
First off, WTF? Use some sentence punctuation... I almost had a panic attack trying to read that
Second, I DEFINATELY know what you mean about the heat this time of the year... I was outside almost all day redoing the entire braking system on my fathers 03 F1, and then washed my 2010 F1 right afterwards (10:00am to about 4:30pm); I'm definately sun burnt, and I think that I sweated off about 10lbs, lol
It does sound like you may have gotten some contaiminates on the rotors or the pads maybe. You could have also forgotten to sinch down a caliper bolt maybe? Either one of those could contribute to the squeeling and/or clicking to be honest.
Were it me, I'd remove the calipers (checking the bolts to the calipers and their mounting brackets along the way, INCLUDING that center nut that you said you took off), run some sand paper over the braking surface of pads just to be certain nothing's gotten on them and became embedded in the material, and then coat the braking surface of the rotor with brake cleaner and wipe them down. Reassemble using some anti-squeek lube on the backing of the brake pads (WHERE THEY COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE CALIPER AND/OR THE CALIPER BRACKET, NOT ON THE SURFACE THAT MEETS THE ROTOR), and make 100% sure all the bolts are tightened back down, and see what happens.
For your rear leafs, maybe the bushings are just shot and need to be replaced? I have seen people also disassemble and remove the bushings completely form the truck, clean them up and where they sit, then grease the bushings and the area they sit in the truck, put everything back together, and it's good as new! Spraying on WD40 is only a temporary fix for leaf spring noise anyways...

sorry about the punctuation error. im using my phone dont have the internet yet at my new place. i do not believe the bolts are loose impact rachet and loctite. in going to try the brake cleaner and see what happens. and about the leaf springs are you talking about where the bolt goes through or the little plastic pucks between the springs and are the springs under pressure or can i just take them out.

for the leafs, I was referring to the rubber bushings at the frame and shackle mounts
