Default Bought myself a new project

Like the title says I finally broke down and bought a new project.
2008 Fx4 114,000 miles, she was hit in the front but i think it'll be a good truck for me.
Not the greatest pics but here it is!
My plan is a leveling kit, tuner, cold air intake, MTs, rims, true dual exhaust, toolbox, and some other odds and end mods as I go. What y'all think?

Care to say how much you're into it and how much it's going to cost to get it road worthy?

That's about the only way I can tell you what I think. Otherwise all we're looking at is a damaged truck with a lot of work ahead of you. Plus maybe even a salvaged title?

If your going to be less $ into it than buying a similar truck, I think you did good. Otherwise it seems like a waste to me.

What tackle said, in the end you have a rebuilt truck that hopefully cost quit a bit less than buying one without the damage.

Before I ordered ac condensor, tranny cooler, pass. fender and inner fenderwell I had right around 5400 into it. After all that was ordered I have about 6 in it. And yes it is a salvage title. THe only thing left to order now is headlights and the front bumper. Going from my 02 fx4 (that I already have sold for 8,000) to a 08 that has 10,000 less miles and still staying in my 8000 dollar budget that im getting out of my 02 isnt a bad deal i don't think.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. I'd have no problem doing something like that if I planned on driving it for a long while. Good luck!

Might as well get a steel bumper so you don't have to fool with painting it at least!
