Blower Not Working
Hey All,
Yesterday, I replaced a leaking heater core on my '99 F150. Once getting everything put back together, we realized that the blower was not working. I have not had any previous issues with it. We checked the fuses, connections, and vacuum line. The other control ***** work (temperature and mode). There is no power at the connection point for the blower control ****. We couldn't find any pinches or cuts in the cables in the dash.
Does anyone know of any other potential causes?
Thanks for the help

Make sure you check all the fuses, some are linked to others. As in one under the hood could tap into another under the dash. Other than that, I sure you thought of probing the line in reverse correct ?
You could also disconnect and reconnect the battery once more. Sometimes things get goofy and that straightens them back out. I might do that real quick first. You can discharge capacitors and KAM by touching positive and negative cables together when disconnected. Then reconnect battery positive first.

Yea, strange though. It quit working after replacing the core. I'm sure you've been retracing your steps lol. Let us know what you find, I'd work back from the switch, -until I found power anyway. May shed some light and since it should be hot when keyed to run. Something up back down the line IMO.
Do you have a truck stop close by or one you pass daily? You can get a 12V heater/defroster that actually does help warm the vehicle until you get the blower issue resolved. You might find one at Walmart too. Usually less than $20 +/-......
As for the blower motor.....sorry, can't think of anything you haven't tried already.
