That's what it's supposed to do. This is where the vacuum lines are for that, and you are losing vacuum going to these....

I took the panel control board out and I was wanting to take it apart to get those plungers out but mine doesn't have screws it appears to be soldered from the factory... I will say when I released the hoses from the back of that board I heard the suction there... I looked on the the hood where the vacuum lines are and everything appears to be good

sorry about all that misspelling from my last message... I was using voice text while I was driving.... I understand what you are saying now the red hose is plugged into the bottom of that round black canister. Then you have that Rod that goes up and connects what appears to be the door that closes off for defrost or panel

If you know for sure it's not the diaphragm or the controller, that leaves the hose.

You've verified manually with the rod that the door works.... it's just not moving.

so it appears the red hose of course plugs into the bottom of the diaphragm and there's no suction. that hose leads to the temperature control panel... like you said in a previous message about the plungers with the detail pictures you provided and what I told you yesterday that mine doesn't come apart with screws what would you suggest I do. do you know what that part is actually called that has the for plunders in it I'll just buy a new one

looks like they're supposed to be a line going into that manifold but I can't find a line back in there nowhere like it has come loose does this look normal. And then here's this piece taking apart with the plungers in it that I cannot get to.. but I'm still confused if it's vacuum then why am I losing it. those colored tubes go straight down.. the red goes into the diaphragm that is supposed to operate the door for the panel and defrost the other ones go to other items somewhere
