I haven't personally used them but a lot of my buddies ran them cuz they found em cheap. Them and myself were very unimpressed about how quickly they would get packed in any mud/sugar sand. But they do last forever on the road. If your looking for something to take offroad often I would look for something else. Honestly my stock Michelin lt2s do better in my mud then my friends Bfgs with a similar truck

Good thread I'm also interested in what people opinion on them are. Once I go back to work full time in about the middle of August I'm saving up for a rim and tire combo. Also wondered if anyone has run General Grabber AT 2 they look pretty close to the same tread pattern and are a little cheaper.

One of the best tires I ever owned. I had three sets on my ranger and one on my current f150 and loved them. But due to the price of them for 20s, had to go with Terra Grapplers

I just put a set of BFG All terrians on my truck. Handles great on the highway, very smooth and quiet. Good traction on dirt roads, will pick up stones. I have not had them in the mud yet, probably not as good as a mud terrian.

I work at sears auto and we have had a lot of people come in and say they loved the BFG At KO it's the new and improved version and they work excellent in sand mud and snow. I haven't had them myself but I have Friends have and he hit a couple of puddles and kind of cruised through them and from what I saw they grab pretty good

Great tire in the snow, rain sand and dirt, not so great in mud but no AT's are really. They will hold their own though. They wear great on the road too.

I love mine! Have about 12k on them and they still look new. barely any wear and they do great in the snow and rain

One thing I don't like is the tread pattern loves to pick up little rocks on the gravel road and fling them everywhere lol

Oh god yes they do, the rockers of my Ranger are beat to hell from those tires. I noticed the Firestone Destinations on my F150 do too but not as bad.

If you are looking for an even cheaper copy try treadwright wardens, they look even more like the bfgs than the generals are are even cheaper.

On the subject of throwing things, my federal couragia m/t's throw baseball size chunks of mud and rocks everywhere.

Really love the look of the Bfg all terrains, but seeing as im in the mud quite often ill prob get some more mud tires
