Default Best way to paint rusty frame

I've got a 3 inch body lift on my truck put on recently, and I know the frame will show more, and I want to paint it so it doesn't look to rough. I need some ideas of how to paint it and what to use so it doesn't chip

rust converter, it's paintable.....or grind it down, and use rust paint but it's more likely to come back that way...if you want real chip protection there's a few chip resistant paints and over-paint protectors out there....some chipping is to be expected underneath on regular paint

not familiar with it but if it's anything like bedliner it should. don't take me as gospel on that.

I used dupli colors spray on truck bed liner. Seems to be holding up well. Atleast the powerwasher doesnt blow it off like typical spray paint.

I second the rust converter first. I kinda wish I would have done that before I painted mine. I did use Tractor Implement Paint and brushed it on. It seems to have coated well and will hold up better than just regular rattle can.
