Default best getting stuck story....

i was just wondering who can come up with the best "getting stuck" story....

heres mine,

I pulled in to my buddies field and just wanting to play around and i headed down a trail and before i knew it, the trail opened up into a huge mud pit that was sloped down and i tried backing up but no luck so i knew my only chance was whipping it the end around and gunning it out...well i got turned around and then tried smashing it but i got buried up to my frame, so needless to say i had a jeep pull me out (this jeep was sitting on 38's with a small block 350) ... i was so bad stuck he had to jurk me three times bf i ever moved...he ended up just pulling me all the way out to the road...i dont know what was worse, getting stuck or getting pulled out by a jeep...haha

Haha sounds like fun!

Mine is, a couple of months ago I was being really stupid, I mean REALLY stupid one night. I decided I'd go mudding at like 11p.m at night, and so I went out into the field behind my house, so far out that you couldn't even see the truck from the house, let alone the road. And I got it buried up to the frame in deep mud and water. I had a jeep try and get me out, but they couldn't even get to where I was and they almost got stuck too.

So, I had to leave it out there over night. It was winter so it got down to around -20 that night and stayed that cold for the next 3 days. I went out the next morning and it was frozen in. I thought I'd try and break the wheels free by putting it into 4x4 low and punching it, well that only succeeded in snapping the front driveshaft. (Now I'm down to one wheel drive, no LS). I spent from 8 am that day to 4:30 at night slowly jacking it up and putting more and more things under the wheels. I ended up with two 1ft tall cement blocks under each wheel and boards on top of that. Had to leave it there another night, the next morning at 8 am -10 degrees I go back out there with a grill-sized propane tank with a torch and a hammer. I melted all of the ice from the wheels so I could get them off, then I melted/pounded all of the ice from everywhere else that turned. I put the wheels back on and tried to back out. (Still in one wheel drive) Well I got 5 ft and fell back in and was hopelessly stuck again, only now all of my blocks and boards were frozen into the ground.

I started all over again, and my neighbor with his 700cc Arctic-cat 4 wheeler with a winch came over. We jacked it up, set it on boards and tried to back it up with a little help from his 4 wheeler. It would move a foot or so at a time, so after another 5 hours and many many repeated tries of that we finally got it moving until we were able to get it onto more solid ground. The one wheel wonder still wouldn't move anywhere on its own so I had a buddy with a jeep help me back to the house where the truck sat in the garage for the next four days while it slowly defrosted, and while I began changing fluids and re-greasing things.

The truck is mostly fine now, but the transmission had never felt quit as nice since then.

Back when I was much younger and dumber I went to a big party out in the mountains. All of my buddies decided to go wheelin about 11:00 pm, I didn't want to go because I had just washed my truck that day. 3 hours later nobody returns, Me and the remaining few decide to go check on the rest. I followed the trail they had went down, 1/4 mile into it I get stuck mud all the way above my headlights. I couldn't even open the doors, I had to crawl out the rear slider window. Just about this time everyone else comes back and guess who's blocking the only way out? we tried all night and finally got a friend to bring his cat up there and pull me out.
Bent my frame and ripped the rear bumper off of my truck.
Never Again will I go check on the other guys lol.

Yeah, I love the winter in the beginning. Snow can be alot of fun, especially when you find empty parking lots, but by the end of winter I'm just dying for warmer weather.

Pheaton, that sounds like a total cluster f***. I guess we go through that crap so we can learn from it. I'll never go mudding again without some guys in some decent trucks.

me and my wife were turkey hunting on our deer lease and we went five miles back i had no problem ggetting through this one really big puddle 4 hi and i was good on the way back i made it half way through and saw some turkeys on the other side down the road we ot out and got close they spoted us before we could get a shot off so we go back to my truck and the tires spin a little i gunned it thinking if i turn the wheel i could work my self out no luck so i put in in 4 lo and try to work my way out no luck i could not jack it up the mud was to soft so like a turkey i sunk it up to the frame after a 5 mile walk back to camp to where we had cell phone service we called her dad and he picked us up. the next day i take shovels come a longs and tow rope lucky there was a friend of mine hunting hogs and he got his jeep and winched us out and i took it to get it fixed i blew a seal in the motor had both lower control arms replaced transfer case drained and filled 4 wheel switch replaced and some other stuff i can't remenber but i do remenber the price it cost 5,000 dollare to have everything fix and done like it was before i went hunting i guess i was the turkey on this one
