Default Best CAI?

Just curious what you guys think is best. I've always thought about going with a K&N, but I heard that they let a lot of dirt in through the filter? I do a lot of driving on dirt roads and just off road in general, so I can't have that. Just curious what you guys run and what delivers the best performance, while keeping the most dirt out.

Btw: I don't think it makes a difference, but I have the 4.6.

How do you like it?

As for the rest of you guys: You do realize this thread would end sooner if you just gave me a straight up answer, rather than trying to build up somebody to come in here and ruin my thread.

On modulars, non F/I motors, I prefer to just add a drop in K&N. (Don't over Oil and do your vehicle maintenance. You wont have a problem.)

Anything more is just for looks. Which has it's own appeal. ..Nothing wrong with that.

If you on dirt roads a lot.. look into S&B and volient. They have a cover for the filter to help keep clean for offroad and muddin

Will do. Thanks

Is there any advantage to a dry filter vs oiled?

I can't speak as to the difference between the different brands, or the benefits between CAIs and better DIFs for our engines... but I can tell you that I love the sound of a CAI. I've had one on my 06 Impala SS, my 09 Challenger R/T, and my current 01 F150. Never regretted it.
