Direct bolt up, the extra bolt wholes you need are under the carpet already

Do it the 40/60 split bench is awsome. You'll love having a center console and armrest

You can leave the carpet in, just set the seats in there and cut the carpet where the bolts go. And be sure to grab all of the bolts for the new seats

Is tapping required?

I have a power drivers seat and the 40/60 split bench. Dunno if that was a common option. Would rather have that than individual buckets; the middle seat is nice to have in a pinch and allows Mrs Spannerhead to scoot over on hot dates.

I added the power seat to the drivers seat. It came with the 40/60 seat, but manual adjuster. After switching the base from the Expy seat, it was a simple adding of two wires to cover the power seat motor load. I used an always hot terminal in the dash fuse box. I added a relay between the two and everything works as it should. It makes a bad back feel much better when I get back from a road trip. I was going to install the two buckets with the center console, but decided to just use the power base. I ended getting back all the money I had invested and still ended up with the power option. It was a great move in my opinion.
