Just the four stock ones that are towards the bottom of the bed in my crew. Wish I had the holes in the bed rails.

Thanks for everyone’s interest in this. It really does seem crazy that they would eliminate a very fundamental and useful hook/attachment point to secure cargo.
The other thing I do not understand is why they changed the design of the attachment plates for the box link system on the 2026 F150. Same material, same mounting holes, and now a box plate that will not interface with the box links. Had to order new ones, identical to the design used for the past several years, just so my box link hooks would be usable. It makes no sense.
For now, I am still in search of a way to install hooks in the lower corners of the back of the box by the cab.

Same reason we bought the same music, on LP, and, 8-track then cassette, then CDs, now streaming service. Companies make more money when they sell new things not compatible with what you already have.

Why do you think Ford and other manuf. redesign the shape of the box and angle of the box leading in to the back of the cab every couple of years. If they didn't no one would ever buy a new topper or tonneau cover, they would just keep recycling the old one.

I did hear that Ford did away with the ratcheting head rests also. A great feature, even my 2025 Chrysler Voyager has that.
