Old ball joint is out and new ball joint pressed in yet when lifting the steering knuckle it only lifts so far up the joint. Castle nut is threaded on enough to put the codder pin through but not nearly enough up the threading on the ball joint as id like it to be. I don't know maybe im paranoid but id like the castle nut to be flush to where the threads start. Is it good to just leave it where its at and put the codder pin through or should the nut be threaded as far as possible? The joint doesn"t have any play and the codder pin is nice and tight.
