I was looking to see if my truck had the RAP module for keyless entry, don't think it does but I found this and it's not connected to anything. It's the first thing I saw when crawling under. Grey with a red and white wire, under driver side behind hood latch

That's for the optional Flux Capacitor.

No, probably the connector for the Mr. Fusion module, which is needed to generate the 1.21 GigaWatts needed for the Flux Capacitor.
My '98 does not have that, although some may guess it's the connector for the trailer lighting run, if you have that option. My truck didn't even have the fog light pre-wire like most of you have.
