Ha go figure... i'm driving home from work today and the touchscreen stopped working. I'll update tomorrow and see if it was something stupid but maybe Boss really is just a costly paperweight? Very frustrating.

Dam dude, ya I've seen boss equipment fail numerous times. Maybe check the menus in the radio and see if you can find a screen calibrator. I've seen that cause them not to work either. If not then its probably dead.
I can't really afford to drop the money on the alpine touchscreen I want. But I do have a nice single din alpine and it does everything I need it too. Plus sound quality is better IMO. I'm a firm believer in the fact that a nice single din radio will always look better than a cheap touchscreen.
Sorry to write a book here, but I'm into the car audio scene pretty deep and I just couldn't help myself from putting in my 2 cents. Good luck man hope everything works out for you.

So I tried the reset button.. took off the screen protector... disconnected the battery and still nothing. Boss got back to me within an hour and I think they will replace it but itll coat 30 and shipping. I am going to leave the battery off for an hour to see if a full drain helps. Dont want to ship it in but at least its an option, but at the end of the day its still a boss.

I have a jensen VM9224BT in my truck and I've been very happy with it. Good sound, starts up quickly, the bluetooth works great, and the backup camera feature is really nice, especially with a cap and while hooking up a trailer. I've only had it about 6 months, so I can't speak to its longevity really, but so far it has had 0 problems.

I prob should have gone jensen. Less of a pain to mount but live and learn I guess. Also it was a gift from my wife so I didnt have much of an option she just saw one I looked at on the computer history and bought it.
