Anybody Heard About The J-Mod ?
I have been a CVPI "enthusiast" for many years, This mod has been in the back of my mind for a while, It makes the 4r70w trans shift right, not all mush box. I was curious if anybody has applied it to a truck ? Or do I sound like I might have been drinking bong water ? Hopefully this link goes somewhere. - http://www.crownvic.net/tech/4R70Wnotes.pdf

Good luck on this one. I asked the same thing several months ago and got no response. I ended up getting a Edge Evolution to firm up the shifts. I wanted to do this mod on a 98 mustang GT but got a Diablo tuner instead. The Diablo worked great on the mustang. The Edge on the F-150 not so good.

J-Mod was done to my 99 CVPI, I loved the way it felt, chirp second, solid and firm.
My truck shift's like there is oatmeal in the trans - it always has, but I have just left it alone. I have a couple of friends that went with programmers and I was never impressed with the change, J-mod literally feels like a different trans.

Is that the same tranny that is coupled to the our f150? Cause I thought that they stop putting those in Ford in the early 90's and they were only put in cars. And what does it do make it more sporty?
