Actually they were not a dealer installed option. Those came on the 100th Anniversary edition. Those were the only trucks that got them. The worse part is you had to had a 100th Anniv. Vin to get parts for them, and now they have all been discontinued. I'm trying to find all the badges to put on my truck because I like them better than anything else available.
To the op: 305/70's will fit fine you will have to run slightly lower are pressure to keep them flat. My 305 BFG's have a flat pattern @ 45 psi.

Well, i guess its true when they say you learn something new everyday. I remember looking in my owners manual and still having the original dealer options, i guess i confused it for another. Still a great looking wheel though. Im also pretty fond of these too.

Now i do remember this wheel in the books, so i know this'll be pretty hard to find a set of 4.

[QUOTE=7700SCREW;2373889]Your a smart guy and I read a lot of helpful posts that come from you, but every once in a while you say something like this... That is not correct!
If you don't have first hand experience with the subject please don't tell people false information.
As long as you run the correct air pressure and rotate your tires they will be just fine! But that goes for any size tire.
I ran this exact setup more then once with mud terrains and all terrains and had absolutely NO strange wearing or any problems[/QUOTE
It isn't that they don't fit, it's the safety factor. You are over 2.5 inches over each side of the rim edge with that tire. According to tire mfgrs, anything over 1.5 inches is declared dangerous. The side flex is so severe that blowouts occur because of the bead coming off. That is why I said NO. I understand that people do it. You have. I've done it with older cars, but it just isn't safe. Will it pass some state inspections? I don't think so. Those guys get very techinical in some states. I just personally wouldn't subject myself that the possiblity of that. JMO.

The Bear
Thinking about trying to get these, as my wheels have got serious chrome peel inside and out.

Anyone know what wheels these are? Will they fit my 2000 Lariat 4x4? I would need to find the center caps for them, so knowing what kind they are would be helpful.
p.s. I looked again and apparently they are 16x7. That's too narrow for my 305/70's isn't it?
