Default Cant turn crank by hand/ new trans

Installing new trans and went to bolt the torque converter to the flywheel and I can't turn the crank. Could it be because the tc isn't seated properly? Help!!!!

If it turned before you put it on then yes I would take the converter out and try to turn it...if it turns then that would tell you that something probably isn't being installed correctly.

Did you tighten the first bolt all the way down? If so that's the problem

You have to make sure the torque converter is seated correctly. Also after your sure you have it correctly seated, when you put the trans back in and have it bolted up, you should be able to move the stud on the torque converter back and fourth and hear it go "ding" that's how you know it's in there right. Believe me I've been through it before.
