i have a 2001 f150 extended cab. i was wandering if there is room behind the rear seats to mount an amp?

so i am guessing i will need to remove the seats? do you have any recomendations on how to do this and where to put the amp?

 

You dont need to remove the seats unless you want to... good luck figuring out how to do that. But if youre wanting an amp back there which is what i did youll need to take off top part of the seat. Ya know where a persons back would rest? To do this (i dont know if its the "correct way" but it worked for me) i just lifted up on the bottom while pulling towards the front of the truck on the top of the cushion where the mounts are. You can kind of see em with the cushion in place. There should be three of them. Then, ya just lift it out and from there you can be as creative as ya want. But as far as the actual seats go, i still havn't figured it out.
