Am I the only one out there that doesn't like the flare side?

In my defence.
I grew up thinking the same way about flaresides. (ugly & not enough room for tools and materials.) The rear signal lights were easy to bend and looked cheap, I bought many new and used styleside (6'x 8')boxes and didn't give flaresides a second thought. Then it happened! I bought 1992 4x4 flareside. I was hooked! The body lines look better from 92-96. People are constantly turning their head and complimenting on this truck. The box is 49"x 82" I can still get a 4x8 sheet of plywood in her with the tailgate down. I bought my white flareside for looks and to pull my white matching enclosed trailer.

i love me a reg cab flare side!!!!! i dont like ext cab flare sides.. flare side is such a great classic muscle look and they are kind of a rare sight to see. they just have a aggressive look to them thats why i went out and got me a 2000 reg cab flare side this week.. i used to love my uncles 50s flare side when i was a kid been hooked every since

if they made the cab integrate with the flareside bed better, then i might like them, but it just looks weird having the same cab as the regular trucks meet up with the indented bed sides
either way, to each his own, its great that they offer so many styles where everyone can have what they want.
and there really isnt much room lost in the bed, how often do you stack things on top of your wheel wells asnyways

that sounds like a good idea banshee the cab should match the bed. mabey like a sporty notch out fender and a built in sun visor give it that sporty look.. lol just an idea HEY FORD!!!

I'm not too big on the flaresides either, but arent we forgetting the 99-04 lightnings?!?!?! Arguably the most sexiest, fastest flareside around! I would kill to have one in sonic blue....

I don't know what you guys are talking about space, I can get my Honda rincon in the bed of my flareside. There's really not much of space difference especially when you look at the shorter bed on a 4 door crew cab any year model.

I got my 2001 ext cab flareside from my dad. It was passed down to me after he got a new(used) truck to hall our camper. I've always liked the look of it, and now that I've done just about everything I've wanted to it, I couldn't be happier!
