I actually has a hex drain screw on the bottom, it's just flush with the bottom of the cover!!! That little part that bows out on the bottom is where it is!

Nice! Where did you get that from? I'll have to look into getting one when I swap in some 3.55s with limited slip.

I have a Mag-hytec cover on my 2001 F150 4x4 as well. I went with a "slightly" different oil on my rearend though, by no means should you deviate from the factory type fill though. I am not advocating doing this, I just did this on my truck to see the difference. No change in fuel economy and LS seems to work a bit better than previous. I did in fact add the LS lube additive though.

I changed out my oil and purchased the Valvoiline Semi-Syn 85W-140 because it is relatively warmer here in Texas in the winter and summer. Saved me cash (bought a case of beer with the savings), I checked the oil and it looked perfect 6 months later. Saved me some money anyway, especially since there was a 10 dollar /qt difference though. I'll look for pics later, but the Mag-Hytec is a well built piece, love the dipstick on the cover too.

factory Fill, 75W-140 sythnetic I presume, that's what the tag had on it. But, I wasn't going to pay 16-20 buck a quart for gear oil. So far, the semi-syn from valvoline is working just fine.
