Air Bag light on dash

Air Bag light on dash
I have an '03 f150 and the air bag light on the dash will flash when I start it up, and after about 30 secs it will stay on constantly. I hooked my code reader up to the truck and ran the KOEO, and the KEOR tests on it and came up with nothing. I pulled the center part of the dash off and checked the electric connection for the passenger air bag, and it was fine (still pluged in). I put it back together, took my key and 'turned' the air bag off. Started the truck up and the light that says 'off' didn't light up. The light on the dash came on and stayed on. Could it be that the switch, if thats what you want to call it, to the passenger air bag went bad?
If this might help, I had to replace the fan speed switch to the hvac recently because it burned out.

do u have a pinched wire maybe behind there? and a code reader is only good for check engine lights... but make sure nothings pinched then disconnect battery for like 10 min and hook back up see if its still on. if u do ANY work on the air bag disconnect the battery or pull the fuse... and try no making any static electricty... or ur gunna meet ur air bag first hand haha

The airbag light on the dash will flash and then light up solid if anything is wrong, including the off indicator light for the passenger air bag. If the light didn't come on when you turned the key switch, its probably burnt out. Before tearing apart your entire interior, try replacing the bulb and see if that fixes the air bag light.

I have the same thing on my 99' and its the fact that the little light inside the thing burns out and you cant just replace the light (I tried) you have to get a whole new switch
