When you need a new key to have a second key they reprogram the PATS module and program both keys at the same time.

My dad works at Home Depot and they have the machine to program chipped keys. they get 70 bucks to do a key. I have the same issue as I only have one key.

Thats atleast a lil cheaper?!

I'm recently got a spare key with chip it works fine, I did get it from ace hardware and it works fine for me 75$

I recently made a spare for my truck at ace. of coarse it had to be chipped in order to start the truck which is what I wanted. 75 bucks works great

I don't know about Ace Hardware but the Walmart in my town Cuts and programs the chipped key. They some how read the program of the existing key. I'm told it works. I personally havn't tried it.
