Question ac blower

Hey folks
I'm new to the forum ,but this looks like a great tool.my question is my ac blower stoped blowing.my engine temp lite blinked I stoped asap filled my water res,got back in to go to work no ac ,the owners man states when the 1997 f150 4.6 runs hot it cuts off the ac and runs on 2 less cylind.I have checked all the fuses (good) both under dase and under hood I was told it was the blower relay and bought one only to be clueless as to where it goes.I have discont batt for hours ,all the parts stores in texas will sell you parts but your on your own to find them (several dealers in my area didn't know where the relay went as well).thanks for any help

Did you get your engine fixed? Interesting read about the engine cutting off the AC and two cylinders. Did this actually happen?

Question ac blower

Bill
I really couldn't say if the engine cut back to 6clyn or not I never lost any power ,plus and soon as the temp lite blinked I pulled over ,the ac blower swith has not moved from max air since april (gota love texas).I still haven't had any luck getting it working again, looks like I'll have to take it to the dealer ,but at least it'll be fixed right .I would really like to know what happened to the blower. Thanks for the concern and if I find out what happen I'll post it .

Thanks again
Bob
