Yes, Fix all connections to the battery.
It could also be a Crankshaft sensor and/or the wires running to and from.
There is also some wires that runs to the alt that can give you problems. Its connected in close to the battery and a AC line, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head, But you need to check those wires for chaffing. You should be able to see the back spot in the wire.

The reason people are telling you it's probably the coils is because that is what matches the problem you are describing. It is very common for coils to start going bad without throwing and check engine code. You can buy a full set of plugs and coils off of eBay for around $150. You'll probably spend more than that messing around with every other "possibility" while trying not to do what several (on both of your threads for this topic) have already suggested. Just do it. Your plugs are probably way overdue for a change anyway, and new coils are never a bad move. Good luck!

When my coils started going bad it never threw a code and I had a horrible misfire. Sounds like what my truck was doing minus the rpm dropping to 0. Buy the coils online you can find them for $80 instead of $400 from autozone.
