Two Wheels

Two days ago I checked my oil and had no oil on the dipstick,I went to the store and bought 3qts put 1 in nothing,then another still nothing,finally I ended up putting 5qts in and it still doesnt show on the stick,I dont see any leaks,the truck doesnt smoke but the antifreeze does have a black/grey tint,I drove the truck 70 miles it sounds normal and runs fine where is all the oil,it was due for an oil change(3500 mi since last change)but Ive never had a problem with this truck,never used oil between changes,I bought it new it has 94500 miles now,any ideas...THANKS

pull on the dipstick tube and see if its loose. if it had no oil at all and you added 5 qts it should have shown 1qt low. maybe the tube slid up and your dipstick isnt all the way down there. maybe your dipstick is getting caught on the tube and not going all the way in.
